We didn't have to wait that long, because just this week, we noticed two new dials to the 5270 of Patek's website. The 5270G-013 looks like this and the 5270G-014 looks like this with a gorgeous blue dial. You'll notice they now both feature a tachymeter scale similar to the 5970 and the "Patek Philippe" signature is considerably smaller. These two dials come about a month after Patek showed a limited edition 5270G available only at Wempe in Munich that closely resembles the 5270G_13, but with blue accents.

Again, no official word on the availability of these watches but based on the fact that the original 5270G is no longer shown on Patek.com, we can assume that dial has been discontinued.
